Psychotherapist, Couples Therapist & Clinical Supervisor
Mansfield, Nottinghamshire
I am an experienced Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor working with adults and couples in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, both face-to-face and online.
My approach is grounded primarily in Humanistic and Existential psychotherapy, while also integrating evidence-informed approaches where they may be helpful to the individual or couple sitting in front of me. I value therapy that feels genuine, thoughtful and grounded in real human experience rather than overly clinical or formulaic.
I work with people facing a wide range of emotional and relational difficulties, including anxiety, depression, trauma, burnout, grief, identity struggles, relationship conflict, emotional dysregulation, and periods of significant life transition.
Alongside general psychotherapy practice, I have developed particular experience working with Autism (ASD) and ADHD, both in individual therapy and within couples work. This includes supporting neurodiverse individuals and relationships around communication, overwhelm, emotional regulation, misunderstanding, masking, identity and relational strain.
My Approach
I believe therapy works best when people feel able to think openly, honestly and without judgement.
My work is relational in nature. Rather than positioning people as “problems to be fixed”, I aim to create a therapeutic space where experiences can be understood more clearly and explored with depth, curiosity and compassion.
Existential philosophy has also strongly influenced my practice. Much of human distress cannot always be reduced to symptoms or diagnoses alone. Questions around meaning, identity, responsibility, isolation, uncertainty and change are often central to psychological wellbeing, and therapy can provide space to engage with these difficulties differently.
While my core approach is humanistic and relational, I also draw from a range of therapeutic models where appropriate, including DBT-informed approaches, trauma-informed practice, psychoeducation and practical coping strategies.

Couples Therapy
In couples work, I aim to help partners better understand both themselves and each other, particularly where communication has become stuck, conflict repetitive, or emotional connection difficult to maintain.
I have significant experience supporting neurodiverse couples, including relationships where one or both partners are autistic or have ADHD. Therapy often focuses on improving communication, reducing cycles of misunderstanding, and developing more realistic and compassionate ways of relating to one another.
Clinical Supervision
I offer clinical supervision for therapists and professionals working within helping professions. My supervision approach is reflective, relational and supportive, while also providing appropriate challenge and professional accountability.
Working Together
Starting therapy can feel difficult, particularly if you are used to managing things alone or are uncertain about what you need from the process.
Whether you are looking for individual therapy, couples counselling or professional supervision, the first step is usually a brief initial telephone conversation where we can discuss what has brought you to therapy and whether the way I work feels like the right fit for you.
Sessions are available face-to-face at my office in Ransom Wood, Mansfield, or online via Zoom.
